The Jenny McCarthy Show will feature celebrity interviews, guest panelists and pop culture discussions when it debuts on America's VH1 network later this year (12), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It will be the bubbly blonde's first stint as a chat show presenter, although she is no stranger to TV - the former Playboy playmate hosted MTV dating show Singled Out during the 1990s and has landed acting appearances on TV series Charmed, Just Shoot Me! and hit sitcom Two and a Half Men.

The news was announced on Wednesday (15Feb12) and McCarthy has already been inundated with congratulatory notes via Twitter.com.

Responding to fans' well wishes, she writes, "Thanks everyone. So excited!"
