I’m not exactly sure how Michael Aussiello can claim an “exclusive” on a rumor, but whatever, I’ll let the guy enjoy his little moment.
According to the former EW journo, McG “might” be directing the Wonder Woman pilot that NBC has picked up from David E. Kelley. In fact, it’s not even a “might.” He’s the “front-runner.” The reboot was recently picked up at the last minute from Kelley, who was gracious enough to bestow upon us Boston Legal, Alley McBeal, and Harry’s Law.
The sad part about all of this is that it actually makes a little bit of sense. As much as Charlie’s Angels sucked, it did look good and that kind of production might make for an interesting iteration of Wonder Woman. And NBC doesn’t have the greatest record when it comes to superhero shows. Let’em go big or go home.
