McGowan may replace Doherty in "Charmed"
Hollywood - Rose McGowan is reportedly negotiating to replace Shannen Doherty in the WB network's hit show Charmed, Variety reports. The show, which is executive produced by Aaron Spelling, was left scrambling to replace Doherty after the ex Beverly Hills, 90210 star announced she was leaving the series to seek other opportunities. McGowan would not take over Doherty's role as Pru Halliwell but would be introduced as a long lost sister. McGowan, once the girlfriend of infamous rocker Marilyn Manson, has starred in Jawbreaker, Scream and Ready to Rumble. Charmed is WB's second-highest-rated show.
