‘Megamind’ Blu-ray & DVD Hits Shelves On February 25th
When all is said and done, people will not look back on 2010 as the best year for film, but they will look back on it as a great year for animated films. Megamind was one of the better movies of 2010, let alone one of the best animated features. Its Blu-ray and DVD release on February 25th looks to continue it’s favorable track.
The package contains standard extra features like behind-the-scenes videos, commentary tracks and deleted scenes, but the double DVD pack (and Blu-ray) features a quasi-sequel that follows Megamind and Minion on their first day on the job after the film concludes titled Megamind: The Button of Doom. Since it includes the voice talents from the original (Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt, Tina Fey), it could be a worthy follow up. The release also includes an instructional video on how to draw Megamind which I would’ve absolutely eaten up if I had this when I was a kid.
