HOLLYWOOD - Spice Girls star Mel B has hit back at reports her new baby was unplanned by revealing she and ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy had discussed starting a family together.
The British pop singer is currently fighting Murphy over paternity and admits she's horrified by rumors her four-month-old daughter was a mistake.
Mel B--real name Melanie Brown--insists the pregnancy was "completely planned," adding, "This wasn't some random, 'Oops, I fell over and I'm pregnant!' I don't live my life like that."
The pop star also dismissed reports that she was dumped by Murphy in favor of his new fiancée Tracey Edmonds, insisting she ended the relationship.
She adds, "Certain things went on in his house...that I wasn't prepared to be a part of."
