Edge of Darkness Trailer Arrives
After taking a lengthy break from acting to pursue other interests, Mel Gibson returns to the big screen in Edge of Darkness, a new thriller from Casino Royale director Martin Campbell and The Departed screenwriter William Monahan. Mel plays a Boston homocide detective whose only daughter is gunned down on the footsteps of his home, prompting him to seek — you guessed it — revenge. It seems to be a common theme in Mel's work.
