Mena Suvari Files for Divorce
HOLLYWOOD - American Pie star Mena Suvari has filed for divorce from cinematographer Robert Brinkmann after five years of marriage. In a statement released by Suvari's publicist Melissa Kates, the actress has
cited irreconcilable differences as the basis for her divorce petition, which
was filed on May 10.
Brinkmann, 43, and Suvari, 26, eloped in March 2000 just after the actress
had turned 21.
The couple met while working on the cheerleading comedy Sugar & Spice. They
recently collaborated on the upcoming film Standing Still.
