HOLLYWOOD - Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael, has denied Internet reports he is planning to launch his own reality TV show to rival ex-wife Dina's.

Speculation had been mounting that Michael Lohan was furious about his former partner's decision to make a fly-on-the-wall TV series about life with the Lohans and was determined to launch a rival project.

But Lohan--who divorced Dina earlier this year--has dismissed rumors that he's in talks to create his own show.

He says, "No way. I am definitely not looking for my own reality show. That's Dina's thing and I've got my own thing."

However, he does admit to floating the idea of a reality project to TV networks in 2004, saying, "It was called The Lowdown and was supposed to be a kind of anti-tabloid talk show.

"That was back when I was getting beat up on a lot in the press and by Dina's people, and I didn't feel like I had a way to present my side.

"But that's over. I've let all of that go. I have bigger things to focus on now."

Dina Lohan's show is currently being filmed for TV channel E! and will focus on the family matriarch and her singer/actress daughter, Ali.
