Mickey Rourke has decided not to reprise his role in The Expendables 2, paving the way for him to join the upcoming action comedy Seven Psychopaths.
After doing the first Expendables movie as a favor to Sylvester Stallone, Rourke has reportedly not been enticed on the financial front to reteam with Sly and Co., instead deciding to star alongside Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken in Martin McDonagh's (In Bruges) Psychopaths.
The film centers on a Hollywood screenwriter (Farrell) who finds his way into the oddest chain of events imaginable -- and then writes about it, if he lives.
