HOLLYWOOD - Actor Mickey Rourke has paid an emotional tribute to model-turned-bounty-hunter Domino Harvey, who was found dead in her bath last week.
The Sin City star, 48, fought back tears at her Los Angeles memorial service
on Friday when he spoke of the deep affinity he felt with Harvey, who
was one of the few women who matched his wild personality.
Rourke first met her to research his movie role in Domino, which is inspired
by Harvey's life story.
He told other mourners, "I came today because Domino was such a great girl.
The moment we met we really clicked.
"Something in both our characters mirrored each other. We were the same kind
of people.
"I met her to do research for the film role. She was fun, lively,
charismatic.
"She would ring me up, or I would ring her up, and she would say, 'Come on,
let's raise hell,' and we would go out for a few drinks and talk the night
away."
