HOLLYWOOD - Miley Cyrus has pulled out of what was to be her first public appearance since news of her controversial Vanity Fair photo spread surfaced.
The actress/singer was billed to appear at a Disney party in Orlando, Florida, on Friday, but organizers have confirmed she won't be there.
The 15-year-old Hannah Montana star hit the headlines earlier this week when a provocative bare-backed photo from the Annie Leibovitz Vanity Fair photo shoot appeared online.
Leibovitz and the magazine's bosses have defended the pictures, saying the singer, her parents and her handlers approved of the images during the shoot. An "embarrassed" Cyrus has apologized to her fans.
