Mills Claims McCartney Hit Linda

HOLLYWOOD - Paul McCartney's estranged spouse Heather Mills has alleged the former Beatle used to hit his first wife, Linda.
Mills, who has accused McCartney of violent behavior during their four-year marriage in leaked legal papers, believes she has proof McCartney physically abused the late rock photographer. Friends of McCartney have rubbished the claims as "outrageous nonsense.”
Paul was married to Linda for 28 years until her death in 1998, and the couple was seen as one of the strongest celebrity pairings.
A source close to McCartney says, "This is a step too far. Next she'll be saying she's discovered a new color.
"It's getting more ridiculous by the minute. There's one thing to make all the claims she has last week--but this is just outrageous. It's nonsense--Paul and Linda had a fantastic marriage."
