HOLLYWOOD - Heather Mills has been dumped by her publicist, a day after unleashing an emotional tirade on the British media during a live TV interview.
The former glamour model, 39, accused journalists of waging a 'hate campaign' against her following the breakdown of her four-year marriage to Paul McCartney during the interview on U.K. morning show GMTV on Wednesday morning.
The public outpouring forced Mills' publicist, Phil Hall, to resign after he advised her not to go on live TV.
He says, "My view is that you need good relations with the media to turn the negative into the positive and I advise always to ignore the stuff thrown at you.
"I no longer represent her. I advised her against the interviews but she was adamant. Sometimes she can't help herself."
