On Saturday night at the Don Strange Ranch in Boerne, Texas, country music stars Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton got married.
Katherine Heigl, Josh Kelley, Reba, Kelly Clarkson, Dierks Bentley and Laura Bell Bundy were all in attendance, and all were excited to celebrate with the couple (who have been together for six years) on their special day. At the reception, venison (harvested by Lambert herself) was served, and Lambert expressed to People how much joy she was feeling on the day. She said, "I'm just excited to be married because I want to tell Blake I really can love him for the rest of my life and be happy and make him happy." Shelton also expressed excitement for the future, but on a significantly smaller scale: he planned to spend "almost the entire month of May just hanging out together. I mean no friends, no family, just she and I just hanging out for the good party of the month. That will be good enough for us that she'll go back to wanting to kill me again and wishing I would go back to work." Sounds like things have started off just as they're supposed to.
