HOLLYWOOD - Monty Python's Flying Circus has been named the most influential comedy show in British TV history, by a new poll.
A panel of comedy performers selected the series--which ran from 1969-1975 and made stars of John Cleese, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones and Graham Chapman--ahead of other Brit hits including Blackadder, Little Britain and The Office.
The top 10 is as follows:

3. Blackadder
4. Little Britain
5. The Royle Family
6. The Morecambe and Wise Show
7. Spitting Image
8. The Young Ones
9. The Office
10. The Vicar of Dibley
