Michael Moore Gets Nurses Support for 'Sicko'

Michael Moore
HOLLYWOOD - Michael Moore's new documentary about the state of healthcare, Sicko, has been given a huge boost by California's nurses--they will flood cinemas later this month when the film is released.

The California Nurses Association is planning to stage a Scrubs for Sicko campaign in state cinemas to support the film and to answer questions cinemagoers may have.

Nurses will wear their uniforms to the screenings, where they'll ask film fans to sign petitions and lobby politicians in an effort to push healthcare reform across America.

Over 1,000 nurses joined Moore at a rally at the state capital in Sacramento earlier this week as the filmmaker met with legislators to discuss issues raised in his new movie, which takes a shot at healthcare in America.
