HOLLYWOOD - The woman who claims comedian Chris Rock is the father of her 13-year-old son has been uncovered as a fraud with an extensive criminal record.
Rock last week agreed to take a DNA test to find out if he is the father of Kali Bowyer's teenage son Jordan, whom she believes is the result of a romance she had with the funnyman in the early 1990s.
But the credibility of Bowyer's allegations have been brought into question after TMZ.com revealed the 36-year-old has a history as a conwoman, having been charged with theft by deception last summer and other charges of running an elaborate cell-phone scam.
On Saturday, Rock confirmed he was still interested in undergoing the DNA test to determine parentage of the child and agreed to provide financial support if he is proven to be the father.
