HOLLYWOOD - The motorist who collided with George Clooney in New Jersey on Friday insists he won't be pressing charges.
Albert Sciancalepore blames biking Clooney for the crash, which left the movie star with a fractured rib and his girlfriend, Sarah Larson, with broken toes, but he isn't planning to pursue compensation for the minor damage to his car.
Sciancalepore dismisses reports he was signaling left as he turned right on a street in Palisades--and collided with Clooney, who was riding through the neighborhood on a rented Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The Mazda motorist says, "I did not see him at all... To me, it's his fault.
"He's a good actor, he seems like a good human being, there's no reason why I'd want to go after his money."
The owner of the mangled motorcycle, Asa Murray, insists he has no plans to cash in on the actor's misfortune either.
The Harley Davidson of Ocean County owner says, "We don't have any thoughts about any auctions or any profitable matter based upon somebody else's misfortune."
Murray hopes the actor will return to his store in the near future--to sign the bike he crashed.
