HOLLYWOOD - Production on Eddie Murphy's new movie Nowhereland has been suspended after striking Hollywood writers picketed the set.
The Paramount Pictures film was shooting at a public park in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles, but filming had to be halted and the stars were sent home after protestors arrived at the location.
However, production will continue as planned on Friday.
Strikes by member of the Writers Guild of America have disrupted production across the industry, affecting TV favorites including Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy as well as top late-night talk shows The Late Show and The Tonight Show.
