I’ll be honest. I wasn’t that excited about Due Date when I saw the first trailer. I loved Old School and The Hangover and was expecting something great from Todd Phillips, but the first look made me go "meh." The cinematography looked amazing (even if it did rely a little too heavy on the orange/teal lighting), but majestic images of the American landscape aren't that funny (except for the Rockies, those things are hysterical). It's stars Robert Downey, Jr. and Zach Galianakis are hilarious and the premise is ripe with comedic potential. Then this new trailer comes along and...BAM! My faith was restored halfway through (1:05 to be exact) and I’m officially excited. Freeze framing the flashing images shows us RZA makes an appearance too and that ain’t nothing to f*ck with.
