Nick Nolte Escapes Fire to Turn Around and Battle It

HOLLYWOOD - Nick Nolte reportedly broke a window, slightly cutting his hand, when fleeing an electrical fire that spread throughout his Malibu home causing $1.5 million in structural damage.
Upon arrival, L.A. firefighters found Nolte outside of his home battling to put out the blaze on his own.
The firefighters stepped in and within about 10 minutes they were able to douse the fire, which damaged a portion of the home, according to Los Angeles County fire Inspector Sam Padilla reports the Associated Press.
According to TMZ.com, in addition to the $1.5 million in structural damage there was another $500,000 in content damage.
