Star-studded movie musical Nine has had its release pushed back to December.
The film, starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz and Marion Cotillard, was expected to hit theaters in time for Thanksgiving Day weekend, but the movie, directed by Rob Marshall, will now get a limited release on Dec. 18 before opening across America and in the U.K. on Christmas Day.
Studio bosses at the Weinstein Co. insist the date change is not the result of delays in production, reports Variety.com.
