HOLLYWOOD - Prosecutors in the Wesley Snipes tax fraud case say there is no deal with the fugitive actor, who is currently filming in Namibia.
Following media reports that quoted industry sources as saying Snipes is working on a payment plan, Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert O’Neill said there is no deal.
Steve Cole, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office, was quoted as saying authorities are "making progress toward getting him to the United States."
Last month, the Blade star was indicted in Florida on eight charges of fraud, accused of failing to file tax returns for six years and of seeking $12 million in fraudulent refunds.
