Oliver Stone Arrested on Drunk Driving and Drugs Charges
HOLLYWOOD - Controversial filmmaker Oliver Stone has been arrested for drunk driving and possession of drugs in Beverly Hills, Calif.The Oscar-winning director was stopped at a police checkpoint on Sunset
Boulevard on Friday night, where cops allegedly found unspecified
illegal substances during a search of his Mercedes car.
Stone, 58, was released on $15,000 bail on Saturday morning.
The legendary director, whose movies include Platoon, J.F.K. and Natural Born Killers, underwent a rehabilitation program in 1999 after admitting similar offences.
