Oliver Stone's Bush Film Hit by Script Leak

Oliver Stone
HOLLYWOOD - Oliver Stone's new movie chronicling President George W. Bush's time in office has been hit by a leaked script--despite movie bosses' best efforts to keep the plot secret.

The film, titled W, started filming on May 12 in Louisiana, with a release date scheduled for October--and Stone was determined to keep details of the movie under wraps, with scripts being embargoed and watermarked for extra security.

However, the New York Post has reportedly obtained a copy of the script--publishing excerpts on Tuesday.

The film--which stars Josh BrolinIoan Gruffud and Thandie Newton--reportedly pokes fun at the current president, creating scathing caricatures of both Bush and members of his administration. Former president Bill Clinton is also parodied in the film and the publication reports that in one scene he is referred to as a "lardass."

The leaked script goes on to make fun of Bush's relationship with his parents, his alleged incompetence, his Texan accent and, most controversially, his decision to go to war with Iraq in 2003.
