'One Tree Hill' Star Sophia Bush is Moving On With New CBS Comedy

Sophia BushOne Tree Hill may drawing to a close this April, but fans can breathe a little sigh of relief because one of the main cast members, Sophia Bush, will soon find another life on television. Deadline reports that she's set to join Partners, a developing CBS comedy pilot from the minds of Will & Grace's creators.

The series is borne from the success of the Emmy-winning NBC sitcom, following two architects: Charlie, who is straight, and Louis, who is gay. Their strong friendship has outlasted their romantic relationships, placing them in a sort of Odd Couple space. Okay, now this really sounds like Will & Grace 2.0. We find Charlie proposing to his girlfriend (Bush) and this sends Louis into a tailspin that threatens his own relationship. Okay, no this really, REALLY sounds like Will & Grace 2.0. The Will & Grace pilot finds our duo in a very, very similar situation: the straight one (Grace) is about to marry her fiance, but the gay one (Will) doesn't approve and from that disapproval comes the conflict of the first episode. And with Partners, the straight one (Charlie) gets a fiance, but the gay one (Louis) has issues with it. They're somewhat parallel, don't you think?

Still, since they've nabbed a familar face for the soon-to-be fiance, it's probably safe to assume she'll stick around for at least a little while. That is, if the series makes it past the pilot.
