HOLLYWOOD - The Sixth Sense star Haley Joel Osment has pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges stemming from a car crash in July.
The actor pleaded no contest to one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count of possession of marijuana, according to news Web site TMZ.com.
Osment was sentenced to three years probation, 60 hours of alcohol rehab and three months of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. He was fined $1,500. The actor almost lost his life when his 1995 Saturn smashed into a brick pillar and flipped onto its roof in a suburb of Los Angeles on 20 July.
