It's the single life again for Owen Wilson, who split up with partner, Jade Duell, only 5 months after she gave birth to their son, Robert. Apparently changing diapers and helping with 4am feedings was not the Midnight in Paris actor's cup of tea. A source close to the couple states that, "Owen wanted the freedom to do what he wanted with his friends, both male and female, while remaining a family unit with Jade and the baby....but Jade wasn't willing to go along with that, so Owen decided to end things with her instead of cheating behind her back." Wow, that was mighty big of him. Is he gearing up for Wedding Crashers 2 or something? It's so shocking that Duell wasn't willing to allow him his own "play time" to go out with his friends. I mean, so what if she needed help taking care of a child that he is equally responsible for. Priorities people. This is a classic case of trying to have your cake and eating it too.
Apparently Wilson is remaining in Santa Monica while Duell has moved back to New York with the baby to be with family. Guess that explains why he attended the majority of his Midnight in Paris premieres and press events alone. The couple first met last year when they sat next to each other on a flight and one thing led to another. Cute, right? Even though this story has a certain meant-to-be vibe about it, it appears that this couple won't be living happily ever after....together anyways.
