HOLLYWOOD - Al Pacino has picked his next role, and he’ll be getting the “royal” treatment!
Pacino has agreed to star in "Betsy and the Emperor," as Napoleon Bonaparte. French director Patrice Chereau will direct the film. No other cast or shoot dates have been fixed, but the film is expected to shoot next year.
"Emperor" will be Chereau's second English-language movie, after the upcoming erotic drama "Intimacy."
