HOLLYWOOD - Paris Hilton's fiancée Paris Latsis is in no financial position to be heapinglavish gifts on the hotel heiress, according to his father, who insists he is
"just a student"
Gregory Kasidokostas, the Greek shipping tycoon, says his son, who recently
bought Hilton an eye-catching 24-carat diamond engagement ring and reportedly
just bought a Beverly Hills mansion has yet to receive his share of the
family's estimated $7.5 billion fortune.
One-time water-ski instructor Kasidokostas also insists Latsis doesn't have
the "money or the property" to throw the elaborate nuptials many are
expecting.
Kasidokostas, who was briefly married to Latsis' heiress mother, tells
Star magazine, "Even if he did have wealth of his own, it would not
be in his character to be wasteful and irresponsible."
The couple, who got engaged in May, recently spent time in Greece, where
Hilton has been getting to know Latsis' family.
