HOLLYWOOD - Paris Hilton has been placed on 36 months probation and ordered to pay fines after pleading no contest to reckless driving yesterday.
The socialite's plea was offered by her legal team because the 25-year-old did not appear in court.
An original charge of driving under the influence was reduced.
As part of the plea deal, Hilton has also agreed to attend an alcohol rehabilitation program.
Hilton was arrested in September after police pulled her over for weaving her Mercedes-Benz through Hollywood. They alleged she appeared intoxicated and failed a field sobriety test.
The socialite insisted she had only consumed a single margarita at a charity event.
