Perry will lend her voice to the new film, which will be a mixture of live action and animation, as Smurfette, the only female Smurf among the group. She joins

Neil Patrick Harris,
Alan Cumming and
George Lopez, who have already signed up, according to Variety.com.
Scooby-Doo filmmaker
Raja Gosnell will direct the movie, and filming is slated to begin in April.
