'Pirates' Sequel Breaks Box-Office Record

HOLLYWOOD - Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest has broken the $300 million barrier at the North American box office quicker than any other movie.
The sequel, which stars Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom, has taken a staggering $321.7 million after only three weeks on release.
Dead Man's Chest has already earned more at the box office than its predecessor managed in six months. It remains at the top of the box office, taking $35 million over the weekend.
