Qui-Gon Jinn Injured in Crash
HOLLYWOOD, July 12, 2000 – Actor Liam Neeson broke his pelvis and suffered other boo-boos when he struck a deer while riding his Harley in upstate New York, authorities said. Dutchess County Sheriff's officials said the accident occurred Tuesday afternoon, and the "Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace" star was taken to Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Connecticut and later transferred to Lenox Hill hospital in New York. He also suffered cuts to his legs.
The deer was thrown from the road and later died from its wounds, authorities said.
