Quote of the Day: Keitel on the Sonderkommando
HOLLYWOOD - Harvey Keitel, whose new movie The Grey Zone premiered at the Haifa International Film Festival Saturday, shared with the Associated Press some of his concerns about the Holocaust. "The Sonderkommando [were a group of Jews] who led [other] Jews to the undressing rooms to prepare them for the gas chambers.…What in us permits that? What in us permits knowing that our children will be slaughtered, to allow that to happen without doing something about it?"
