ROLE CALL: Reno, Besson ask "Wasabi"
HOLLYWOOD - Re-teaming with The Professional director Luc Besson, French actor Jean Reno (Mission: Impossible) will star in Wasabi, an action comedy based on an idea by Reno and written by Besson. The film will shoot in Paris and Japan. Reno will next be seen in the John McTiernan-remake Rollerball, playing the ruthless bad guy sports promoter who targets his players for extinction when he realizes it'll make him rich.
