The long- and oft-rumored Office spinoff might be coming surprisingly soon, and starring Rainn Wilson -- although the latter half of that news wouldn't be much of a surprise.
According to Deadline, no deals have been finalized yet, BUT: The proposed series -- conceived by Wilson and Office actor/producer/showrunner Paul Lieberstein -- would see Wilson's Dwight Schrute living at his beet farm/B&B; be hinted at in an episode later this season; and premiere during midseason 2013.
The perennially disgruntled Schrute, lest we forget, has previously looked for work outside of Dunder-Mifflin's Scranton office; just two episodes ago, he was looking for work at Sabre's Florida headquarters. Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica. And a spinoff?!
