Mary Lynn Rajskub: 'Kiefer Sutherland Isn't Scared of Jail'

Mary Lynn Rajskub
HOLLYWOOD - 24 star Mary Lynn Rajskub has reassured fans her costar Kiefer Sutherland is doing "great"--despite facing prison for drunk-driving charges.

Sutherland will be jailed on Dec. 21 to serve 18 days of his 48-day sentence for drunk driving, having been arrested last month after police witnessed him making an illegal U-turn in Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old--who plays Jack Bauer in the popular drama series--will spend 30 days in jail for driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit and 18 days for violating his probation relating to a previous DUI conviction in December 2004.

But Rajskub is convinced he won't let the impending sentences get in the way of his work on set, as shooting gets underway on the seventh season of 24.

She says, "Kiefer is good. He's there, and I haven't really talked to him about the whole DUI thing. We're all plugging away, and it's been great. The spirits have been really great on set."
