Rapper Arraigned Via Mail

HOLLYWOOD - Some guys have to actually show up in court. Some other guys -- multi-millionaire rappers, to be specific -- can merely, as they say, "mail it in." On Tuesday, Eminem was arraigned by mail, whatever that means, on felony and misdemeanor charges related to a run-in with with a member of the Insane Clown Posse, a rival Detroit rap band.

Eminem got a reprieve because he's currently on his "Up in Smoke" tour. No court date has been set yet, but one thing's certain: He isn't required to face judge and jury until after the concert tour ends, according to Entertainment Weekly Online.

The latest album by the controversial rapper, whose wife, Kim Mathers, recently attempted suicide, and whose own mother is suing him, has been No. 1 on the Billboard album charts for seven consecutive weeks.
