Fans of John le Carre have been waiting nearly 30 years to see an adaptation of the author's seminal Cold War novel, Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy, to get the big-screen treatment. What's three more weeks? Deadline reports that the Tomas Alfredson adaptation, which stars Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Thomas Hardy, and Mark Strong, has been moved from its initial release date, November 18, all the way back to December 9, in anticipation of a possible awards push. The change also means the film will no longer be in direct combination with Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part One) -- a wise move, since both releases are expressly aimed at the same lucrative "Hot Topic" demographic.
