Reynolds' baldness woes in coffin

The actor stars as a trucker who is kidnapped in Iraq and buried alive, and the underground sequence took more than two weeks to shoot.

Reynolds presumed the scenes of him lying in a wooden box would be easy to film - but he was left battered, bruised, and partially bald by his movements in the cramped coffin.

He tells Total Film, "I was shocked how physical the film was. (Director) Rodrigo (Cortes) actually created action sequences within the coffin - I don't think I was expecting to be moving around and using the box. But I was slamming against it. By the end of the film I'd lost a lot of skin, was bleeding and I'd worn away a patch of hair on the back of my head from pressing down for so long."
