Richard Curtis, prolific screenwriter (Notting Hill, Four Weddings and a Funeral) and occasional writer-director (2003's Love Actually and 2009's Pirate Radio), has signed on to direct the low-budget sci-fi flick About Time, based on a script he wrote, THR reports. Curtis, whose latest screenwriting effort, Steven Spielberg's War Horse, is currently playing in theaters, hopes to get shooting started on the new project, dubbed a "time-travel dramedy," this summer.
