HOLLYWOOD - Actress Denise Richards won't face charges for throwing two laptop computers over a balcony in a fight with paparazzi on Wednesday.

The Wild Things star was accused of hurling two laptops from the balcony at the River Rock Casino and Hotel, which hit two elderly women below.

The incident occurred after two photographers tried to snap pictures of Richards by gaining unauthorized access to the set where she is filming a movie with Pamela Anderson.

The 90 and 81-year-old women were sitting in the lobby when the computers hit them, causing minor injuries.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Captain Peter Thiessen claims it's not in the public interest to bring criminal charges against the actress.

He says the photographers, Richards and her management company have agreed to settle the matter civilly regarding the damage to the photographer's laptops.

Richards, 35, has two daughters--Sam, 2, and Lola, 1--from her marriage to Charlie Sheen and is currently dating rocker Richie Sambora.
