If you weren't already chomping at the bit for more Walking Dead by now, AMC has yet another promo for you just in case. It's a short one, but it touches on one of the most important issues for the living in the series and one of the elements that makes the series great: what are they fighting for? Rick and Lori struggle with the notion that they are only surviving in order to endure more loss, more running, and more hardship. Is it worth the strife? It's an existential issue rarely explored in your typical two-hour zombie flick, and it's the intensely human element that shifts the series from being a gorey, sensational romp to being a great fixture of television.
Who's ready for Season Two? The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Oct. 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT with a special 90-minute episode.
