'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' Actor to Get 'One Shot' with Tom Cruise?

One of the summer's hottest actors, David Oyelowo, is in talks to join the cast of the upcoming Tom Cruise vehicle One Shot.

Oyelowoc, who was featured prominently in Rise of the Planet of the Apes and appeared in The Help, would play a veteran homicide detective in the crime thriller, in which Cruise will play an ex-Army cop who is summoned by a man implicated in the sniping of several innocent people.

One Shot, directed by The Usual Suspects screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie and also starring Rosamund Pike, will be released Feb. 8 ... of 2013!
