HOLLYWOOD
- Hollywood studio boss
James G. Robinson
has performed a spectacular U-turn by praising
Lindsay Lohan
, just two months after accusing her of being "irresponsible and unprofessional."
In July the Morgan Creek CEO reprimanded
Lohan
for calling in sick during the making of
Georgia Rule
, in a letter in which accused her of partying too hard and "acting like a spoiled child."
But
Robinson
has changed his mind and now claims he would be happy to work with the 20-year-old again, reports
Celebrity Week
.
He says, "(She's) professional. She's on her mark and she knows her lines. She doesn't complain and she's very cooperative."
Referring to his run-in with
Lohan
, he adds, "(My) only rub with
Lindsay
was she was missing time and she was coming to work late most of the time. And that causes problems on the set."
Lohan Honored by Hollywood Film Festival
Lindsay Lohan
seems to have patched up her strained relations with the movie industry--she's been named as one of this year's Hollywood Film Festival honorees.
The
Mean Girls
came under fire from
James G. Robinson
, the CEO of Morgan Creek Production, in July, after the actress repeatedly failed to stick to her shooting schedule on the film
Georgia Rule
.
He said, "We are well aware that your ongoing all-night, heavy partying is the real reason for your so-called exhaustion."
However, her latest accolade could put her in line for an Oscar nomination--the awards are generally seen as a showcase for Academy Award hopefuls.
Lohan
is joined by actor/director
Forest Whitaker
and actor
Derek Luke
on the list of honorees.
The festival prize-giving will be held next month at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
