HOLLYWOOD - Former Velvet Revolver lead singer Scott Weiland has been sentenced to 192 hours in jail following his November 2007 DUI arrest, according to TMZ.com.

The November DUI, during which Weiland allegedly refused a required chemical test, was the rock star’s second such offense.

Weiland, who has battled drug problems in the past, must serve his sentence by May 28.

Additionally, the singer was also ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol program and pay almost $2,000 in fines, reports TMZ.

Weiland recently announced that he would be reuniting with his original band, the Stone Temple Pilots, for a tour this summer.
