HOLLYWOOD - Actress Michelle Rodriguez has been sentenced to 180 days in jail for violating her probation for driving under the influence.
The former Lost star admitted failing to complete community service and submitting a false document to show she carried out one day of community work on Sept. 25.
The 29-year-old was also found to have consumed alcohol on at least three occasions while wearing a monitoring bracelet around her ankle, in violation of a probation requirement she refrain from drinking for 90 days.
A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ordered Rodriguez to start her term by Christmas Eve.
Rodriguez has been serving an extended period of probation as a result of being found guilty of driving under the influence in Hawaii in December 2005 and twice in Hollywood in 2003.
