Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader and Jane Lynch have joined Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's Paul. The Universal and Working Title Films road-trip comedy was written by Pegg and Frost -- who are also starring -- and will be directed by Greg Mottola.

Pegg and Frost are to play two sci-fi fanatics whose conspiracy dreams come true when they encounter an escaped alien at Area 51. Rogen will provide the voice of the alien, Variety reports.

Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan will produce with Nira Park of Big Talk Prods. Shooting begins in June.

A family reunion of sorts, Paul re-teams Pegg and Frost after Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, while Rogen last worked with Mottola on Superbad in which he played one of a pair of cops with Hader. Hader, in turn, just worked with Mottola and Wiig on Adventureland.
