Roman Polanski Directing Mystery 'True Crime'?

Roman PolanskiRoman Polanski may come back to the world of crime. According to Deadline, the famed director is in talks to helm True Crime, a project based on a fascinating 2008 New Yorker article by David Grann. Jeremy Brock (The Last King of Scotland) adapted the story.

The story follows detective Jacek Wroblewski as he dives into the cold case murder of Dariusz Janiszewski who was found in the Oder River in Poland. After investigating further, Jacek notices eerie similarities to the book "Amok" by Krystian Bala, a Polish intellectual. He focuses his investigation on Bala with the book as his guide. Interesting, right? We think so too. Aside from all the weird Polish names that will undoubtedly be a huge pain in the ass to spell check, we're pretty excited for this project. But seriously, Janiszewski? I don't even know where to start with that.
